We are almost in disbelief of the support that has been shown to Love Big Like Nate Inc! The second annual Benefit Auction and Cornhole Tournament was such a blessing! Twenty-three teams competed in the Cornhole Tournament, in spite of cold, rainy weather, and we had so much fun. The silent and live auctions were a blast too! It is always so humbling to have so many wonderful people joining us for our son, helping us give back to the community that we love. The auction donations came to just over $31,000. I can barely type that even still. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it - our community definitely knows how to LOVE BIG!!
This year, LBLN is able to give seven (7) $750 scholarships to Chanute High School (CHS) seniors; offer $1,000 each ($5,000 total) in support of CHS activities - wrestling, football, chess, FFA, and the USD 413 Foundation; donate $1,000 to the Carlie Almond Memorial Fund; sponsor $1,000 to the Chanute Recreation Commission 2025 Flag Football teams; and provide ten (10) $100 gift certificates to local families for Christmas meals!!
Again, we cannot express our gratitude for helping Nate's legacy grow and flourish. Not only are we able to donate back the above, but we have added another $11,000 to our investment account, bringing our total investments to roughly $20,000.
